If you're anything like me you have a tonne of photos on your computer but none on display.
I challenged myself to change this and thought I'd share these tips to inspire you also! So here is some inspiration so you can get some images off your computer and into your home!
1. The humble frame.
This seems like an obvious one but don't discount a basic slim line frame. These guys are super versatile and can be used on a shelf, hung on a wall or sitting straight on your desk. For a modern look ditch the pre-cut mat that comes with the frame and let your beautiful image fill the space. I found this simple yet stylish frame at Freedom.
2. Washi tape
Is there anything washi tape can't do? Why not make your own frame using washi tape in colours that compliment your home. Or simply tear off a small piece and stick it at the top. Boom! Art paper is my go to for any photographic print. I love the look and the artisic feel that it brings to the image. This option is great for kids rooms as you can easily update the photos as they grow and change. It also saves drilling holes into your wall and having to fill them later when you change your mind. Yes guilty of this one!
3. Wooden photo holder
It doesn't get much easier than this. So no excuses! These cute little wooden photo holders can be purchased on etsy and look great using square prints with white borders. Again I recommend art paper as they don't show up fingerprints. Get a stack printed and rotate when you get bored.
I really value getting photos printed and I'm so glad I gave myself this challenge. I hope this inspires you to do the same. If you do try any of the above ideas I would love to see them. Feel free to share at firstname.lastname@example.org or to our Facebook page I'd love to see what you come up with!
